Understanding primary immunodeficiency
About this program
It’s really important for you to understand what your immune system should be doing in order to understand what it’s not doing. With primary immunodeficiency (PI), usually some part or all of your immune system is either missing or not working correctly.
What is primary immunodeficiency? This program is where you can get answers about your immune system, the types of PI, like common variable immune deficiency (CVID), and why it can take a long time to get a diagnosis. Find out about the importance of recording your health and get available resources to help, too.
Whether they’re first diagnosed or ‘veterans,’ people attending this program learn about the terminology of the condition and fundamentals about living with PI.
